Booming Games appoints Ally McIvor as Chief of Sales
Malta-based slot developer Booming Games has hired Ally McIvor for the newly created Chief of Sales role, its first dedicated senior sales position.
Booming Games announced on 28 October 2026 that Ally McIvor has joined the business as Chief of Sales, a newly created role within its commercial function.
First dedicated sales leadership role
The appointment marks the first time Booming Games has created a dedicated senior sales leadership position, as the supplier continues to expand its regulated-market footprint.
McIvor joins with more than seven years of experience in iGaming, having held commercial, partnership and operations roles at Microgaming, Games Global and iSoftBet. She will report to Michael Waterfield, who joined Booming Games as Chief Commercial Officer in September 2026.
McIvor made her first public appearance in the role at SBC Summit Lisbon in September 2026.
Recent leadership changes
In January 2026, the company promoted Dan Paleu to Chief Operating Officer and created a new Chief of Staff role for Ramona Petrina.
Booming Games is a Malta-based B2B slot developer founded in 2014, supplying HTML5 content to operators across multiple regulated markets. The company holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission, with certified distribution also covering Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Greece, and Italy.
