Kambi Group plc said on 4 November that 59% of all live bets traded by its AI system are now accepted with a zero-second delay. The sportsbook supplier said the AI trading platform now sets the delay for each in-play bet individually based on the current match state and the expected value, instead of applying the same delay to every bet during an event.

Speaking on the results call, CEO Werner Becher said: “We estimate this improvement will result in 18 million more accepted bets during the year.” Becher added that these 18 million more accepted bets will also generate more revenue going forward for partners and Kambi.

AI coverage and NBA

Since the end of the quarter, the NBA, which Kambi describes as one of the largest leagues on its network, has been traded by AI. Becher said NBA bet rejections were down 32% compared with last year after a few weeks on the new system. About 85% of network bets now go through the AI system, which already covered football, tennis, ice hockey and baseball. Table tennis is in progress and work on American football continues. Becher said Kambi aims to reach 90% of bets by the end of the year.

Q3 results

Revenue rose 23% to €46.0 million in the third quarter. Adjusted EBITA (acq) increased 161% to €7.9 million. Operator trading margin was 11.9%, against 10.3% a year earlier. Kambi now expects full-year adjusted EBITA (acq) of around €26 million, compared with its previous range of €23 million to €27 million. Its fourth-quarter estimate includes the effect of operator migrations and of Brazil’s online betting ban. Kambi said Brazil accounted for a low single-digit percentage of its 2026 revenue.
